Reunion of Host Classes for Homecoming 2017

The Alumni Relations Office (ARO) in partnership with the Alumni Association of AIM, Inc. (AAAIM) hosted a dinner reunion for the host classes of the 2017 Grand Alumni Homecoming.

At the reception, AIM President and Dean Dr. Jikyeong Kang reminded the host classes of the importance of next year’s Homecoming as it serves as a runway for AIM’s 50th-anniversary celebration in 2018. The plan is to ramp up alumni engagement leading up to the Institute’s Golden Anniversary.

AAAIM Chairman Greg Atienza then impressed upon the classes the importance of setting clear Homecoming objectives that all members can subscribe to. Past host classes generally used the Homecoming as a fundraiser to support favorite causes such as scholarships and the President’s Fund. Having clear objectives ensures that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals to guarantee the Homecoming’s success.
