Job Opportunity: Security Analyst-Manila, Philippines

DESCRIPTION

OmniSecuritas Technologies is a Philippines cybersecurity company that protects and assists Filipino businesses to be more secure and resilient by using a suite of advanced software tools. These tools are based on a 'Zero Trust" managed endpoint detection, analysis, and response technology.


The Security Analyst will contribute to Security & Cyber Risk Management activities for OmniSecuritas Technologies Inc. Specifically, the Security Analyst will review activities on the customer’s endpoints for potential security issues & policy violations. These includes:

  • Classify system activity and document security incidents or policy violations

  • Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents

  • Provide detailed instructions to customers to assist with incident containment and remediation

  • Communicate with customers regarding security issues

  • Provide feedback and collaborate with the development team to improve our solutions capabilities and features

  • Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards

QUALIFICATIONS


Experience in an I.T. or computer security role, based on a mixture of a software engineering degree and relevant practical work experience.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • A good understanding of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems

  • A Desire to learn and share knowledge with a diverse team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills (Tagalog and English essential)

  • Knowledge of or experience with information security & privacy concepts. Relevant information security certifications are highly desirable

  • Specific knowledge in installing, configuring, and monitoring/using CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Symantec, FireEye, or similar managed endpoint detection and response cybersecurity software would be advantageous


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a resident of the Philippines and be legally able to work in the Philippines

  • Be willing to work on-site in Las Pinas and be willing to work on a rotating shift basis

  • Complete a criminal background check
