The Alumni Association of AIM, Inc. (AAAIM) successfully convened its Annual Membership Meeting on May 31, 2025, at the AIM Conference Center (ACC) in Makati City. The hybrid event welcomed both onsite and online participants.
The program commenced with an invocation led by former AAAIM Chairperson Ms. Coratec Jimenez, MDM 2002. This was followed by welcoming remarks from AAAIM Vice Chair Mr. Ernest Villareal, MBM 1975. AAAIM Corporate Secretary Mr. Romualdo Murcia III acknowledged the presence of the batch representatives and outlined the resolutions approved by the board.

AAAIM Chairman Mr. Roberto Benares, MBM 1979, then delivered a chairman's report highlighting the association’s milestones, key initiatives, and ongoing projects for the year. His address underscored AAAIM’s continued focus on alumni engagement, professional development, and community impact.

A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of decade representatives led by former AAAIM Chairperson and Nomination & Election Committee Head Ms. Ofelia Odilao-Bisnar, MBM 1988. She acknowledged the enthusiastic response of batch representatives and emphasized the vital role of batch assemblies in fostering alumni involvement and strengthening connections across generations of AIM graduates.

The meeting also featured a special message from Mr. Illac Diaz, ME 2001, who invited the alumni to support his endeavor to achieve a Guinness World Record by building 3,500 hand-built solar lamps. These lamps, once completed, will be donated as emergency lighting to energy-poor communities in the Philippines.
The event fostered camaraderie among alumni and highlighted the power of collective action within the AIM community. AAAIM extends its heartfelt thanks to all batch representatives for their active participation and continued support.
