TRIPLE A CLUB LUNCH FELLOWSHIP

On September 10, 2025, the Triple A Club Philippines held a lunch fellowship at the Alabang Golf and Country Club, graciously hosted by Mr. Herminio Coloma Jr. (MBM 1978), former Secretary of Presidential Communications and current Chairman of the Alabang Golf and Country Club.

Triple A Club President, Mr. Edgardo Limon (MBM 1974), opened the gathering with his welcome remarks. AAAIM Vice Chairperson, Ms. Asuncion Aguilar (MBM 1986), shared updates on the Association’s ongoing initiatives and encouraged members to participate, support, and contribute to building a stronger, purpose-driven alumni community.

Former AAAIM Chairman Mr. Gregorio Atienza (MBM 1983) also gave an inspiring overview of the history and background of the Triple A Club, while Mr. Ruperto Nicdao Jr. (MBM 1977), President & CEO of MBC Media Group, discussed the Club’s role in strengthening ties with the Association and the Triple A Screening Committee.

The highlight of the event was a talk by former Finance Secretary Gary Teves on “Addressing Needs of Filipinos through the National Budget.” He emphasized the importance of prioritizing education, job creation, and poverty reduction while ensuring transparency and fighting corruption, stressing to make "every peso count" through stronger oversight and citizen participation.

Also in attendance were Triple A members: Ricardo Pascua (MBM 1971), Arthur Aguilar (MBM 1972), Jess Gallegos (MBM 1973), Ruperto Nicdao Jr. (MBM 1977), Isidro Consunji (TMP 1980), Ramon Opulencia (MBM 1983), Manolet Salak (MBM 1983), Ruth Callanta (MM 1986), and Eugene Acevedo (MBM 1987) with AAAIM Secretariat, Anna Alegre (BMP 2015), and Tere Espiritu (BMP 2002).
