Honorable Dr. Jikyeong Kang, President and Dean of the Asian Institute of Management, esteemed members of the Board of Trustees of the Alumni Association of AIM for 2026–2027, my dearest MBM '76 classmates, fellow alumni, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:

Good afternoon and warm greetings. I am deeply honored to once again serve as Chairman of the Alumni Association of AIM for the term 2026–2027.

I accept this responsibility with humility, gratitude, and renewed determination—knowing that the future of our alumni community will not be built by one leader, but by thousands of AIM alumni united by one purpose and one shared destiny.

I accept this responsibility not as an individual privilege, but as a shared commitment to something far greater than ourselves—our lifelong bond with one another and our enduring relationship with our beloved alma mater, the Asian Institute of Management.

In serving the Alumni Association and our alma mater, I also honor the AIM alumni who are nearest and dearest to me—my own family. My wife, Araceli “Beng” Tiukinhoy of MBM 1972; my sons, Felix Cicero C. Tiukinhoy and Felix Carlo C. Tiukinhoy, both of MBM 2000(+); my daughter-in-law, Rika Tiukinhoy of MBM 2000(+); my granddaughters, Felize Marie Tiukinhoy of BSDSBA 2027 and Faith Marie Tiukinhoy of BSDSBA 2028; my sister Fenina Tiukinhoy Rodriguez of MDM 1994; my niece Faith L. Tiukinhoy of MDM 2019; and my nephew Kim Tiukinhoy Pamintuan of ME 2002. I mention my family because they represent something larger than ourselves. They reflect the future strategic direction of our alumni movement.

AIM is not simply an institution we attended. AIM is a community. AIM is a family.

AIM is a legacy that spans generations.

Tonight, AIM alumni officially speak through a historic joint resolution unanimously approved by the Boards of Trustees of both the Alumni Association of AIM (AAAIM) and the Federation of AIM Alumni Associations (FAIM). That resolution gives us a simple, powerful, and unifying direction: ONE A-I-M ALUMNI.

During my first term as Chairman in 2023–2024, we expressed this aspiration through the Cebuano word PANAGHIUSA—Unity.

Today, we carry that vision forward through ONE A-I-M ALUMNI. We are one community. One identity. One purpose. One global alumni network.

We move forward united—not divided by batches, geography, profession, or culture—but strengthened by the diversity of our experiences and inspired by the values we share as AIM alumni. We are likewise strengthened by how we have navigated the challenges of recent years, including the pandemic and organizational transformations. These experiences have reinforced the importance of unity, representation, and collaboration.

Today, AAAIM and FAIM, both recognized by our alma mater and both carrying decades of proud history, continue to create value for alumni around the world.

Together, AIM alumni remain the permanent ambassadors of the AIM brand.

The ONE A-I-M ALUMNI movement was formally launched during our last Homecoming Night at the Manila Hotel and received overwhelming support from alumni across generations.

Since then, several alumni groups have expressed their desire to join this growing movement. New alumni networks, chapter initiatives, special-interest groups, and batch organizations continue to emerge and strengthen our collective voice.

The momentum is real. The future is bright. And our journey has only begun.

A vital part of that journey is our continuing aspiration.

THE CIRCLE OF 5000 LEGACY- This is a call to bring together 5,000 AIM alumni and supporters into one circle of purpose. It is a call not merely for financial support, but for the sharing of our time, talent, treasure, and commitment. It is an invitation to build something enduring and sustainable for future generations—including our children, our grandchildren, and countless AIM alumni yet to come.

The Circle of 5000 Legacy is more than a campaign. It is a movement of belonging.

A movement of stewardship. A movement of responsibility. And a movement of hope. What we build together today will define the strength of our alumni community tomorrow. Equally important during this term is our commitment to continue building bridges with our institution. Our relationship with AIM must remain dynamic, collaborative, and forward-looking.

We will continue strengthening engagement with the school, supporting its mission, and ensuring that the alumni voice remains a constructive and trusted partner in helping shape the future of our institution.

As both AAAIM and FAIM move forward together, I am grateful that the leadership of FAIM has entrusted the Philippine Chapter to serve as FAIM Country Chair for 2026–2027.

I accept this honor not for myself alone, but on behalf of the entire AAAIM Board being inducted today. I likewise draw strength from the rich reservoir of AIM alumni leadership—past, present, and future—whose wisdom, service, and dedication continue to inspire all of us. And of course, I look to my beloved MBM 1976 classmates to continue walking with us in this important journey. The opportunities before us are enormous. The possibilities are limitless. And the best chapters of our alumni story are still waiting to be written. Abangan ang susunod.

As we begin this new chapter, I invite each one of you to walk with me once again—not as spectators, but as builders. Builders of unity. Builders of legacy. Builders of bridges. Let us move forward as ONE A-I-M ALUMNI.

Let us grow the CIRCLE OF 5000 LEGACY and bring thousands of alumni and friends into one circle of purpose. Let us continue building strong bridges between our alumni and our beloved Asian Institute of Management. And let us remember that the true strength of AIM is not found in its buildings, its programs, or even its history. Its true strength is found in its people. In every AIM alumnus. In every AIM family. In every life transformed by AIM. Together, we are not merely preserving a legacy. Together, we are expanding it. Together, we are shaping the future. Together, we are ONE A-I-M ALUMNI. One Heart. One Legacy.

Maraming salamat. Mabuhay ang Alumni Association of AIM.

Mabuhay ang Federation of AIM Alumni Associations.

Mabuhay ang Asian Institute of Management.

At mabuhay tayong lahat.
