The Annual Alumni Homecoming “Igniting the Passion” was held at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura last February 24, 2017, in commemoration of the 49th anniversary of the Asian Institute of Management.
With MBM 1997 taking the lead, AIM alumni gathered and reunited to experience a lively evening of fun, reminiscing their student days as highlights of the vivacious program. The program was hosted by Prof. Richard Cruz and Ms. Gelli Victor. The celebrating classes from 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, and 2012 were acknowledged and called on stage. They also prepared audiovisual presentations and sing along with the Mulatto Band.
AIM President and Dean Dr. Jikyeong Kang graced the occasion together with some members of the Federation of AIM Alumni Association (FAIM), Alumni Association of AIM (AAAIM), AIM Faculty, and guests. Kudos to MBM 1997 for a hugely successful hosting of the 2017 homecoming night.
In the run-up to the homecoming, the class also organized the AIM President's Cup last October 24, 2016, at the Alabang Golf and Country Club. They also organized the well-attended AIM Jubilarian’s Cup 2017 on February 20, 2017, at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
The night ended with the turnover of the leadership flame to next year’s host class, MBM 1998 led by Mr. Jeric Lapan.
