Grand AIM Alumni Homecoming 2018

One of the most attended and successful Grand Alumni Homecomings was held last March 09, 2018, at the Manila Polo Club. It was organized by MBM 1998 led by Mr. Jeric Lapan. More than 800 alumni and guests gathered and enjoyed the program prepared by the host class. The celebrating classes for this year’s homecoming include graduates from the years 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 2003, 2008, and 2013.

In line with the Institute’s 50th anniversary, the theme of this year’s homecoming is “Acclaim-Reinventing the Next 50 Years and Beyond.” The presence of AIM President and Dean Jikyeong Kang, AAAIM Chairman Greg Atienza and AAAIM Board of Directors, members of the AIM Board of Governors, and Trustees made the occasion more meaningful. Founders of AIM were honored during the program, where Mr. Ralph Sorenson, as a representative of the founders, was asked to address the Alumni Community. MBM 1998 designed the program differently with honoree classes dancing to the tune of the latest dance craze. They showed entertaining performances that were truly enjoyed by the crowd.

One of the major highlights of the program was the passing of the torch of Batch 1998 to next year’s lead host, Batch 1999. Also, Mr. Jeric Lapan, Chairman of Homecoming 2018 turned over a check amounting to P400,000 as seed fund for the next homecoming and was culminated by a fireworks display.

The event was hosted by Pinky Webb and entertainment made possible by Tawag ng Tanghalan performers.
