The Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management, Inc. (AAAIM) in a special meeting on January 20, 2026 formally introduced the Circle of Five Thousand initiative to some of the most respected leaders of the AIM alumni community.

The Circle invites 5,000 alumni to contribute ₱5,000 each to build a sustainable Legacy Fund supporting scholarships, alumni spaces, and programs that keep the AIM community connected and engaged for generations to come.

Eugene Acevedo (MBM 1987), 2025 Triple A Awardee and Chair of the Circle of Five Thousand Committee, emphasized that the initiative is not merely about fundraising, but about stewardship—investing in future AIM alumni, strengthening the institution that shaped its graduates, and extending the legacy of impact into the communities they will one day lead.

"This is a contribution to future AIM alumni who can have careers as successful as ours. Not just the alumni alone, not just the school alone, but also the communities we hope to impact. I said yes because it’s a worthwhile project. I said yes because, despite challenges, the legacy of AIM will remain in our hearts as long as one of us continues living." - Eugene Acevedo, Circle of Five Thousand Chairman

Alumni leaders present expressed strong support for the initiative, recognizing the Circle as a meaningful and enduring commitment built by alumni, for alumni.
