AAAIM visits the Laura Vicuna Foundation

The Alumni Association of AIM Inc. (AAAIM) donated a year’s supply of toiletries, chocolates, clothing, and Christmas breakfast food packages to the Laura Vicuna Foundation (LVF) as part of its CSR project. Ms. Coratec Jimenez, CSR Committee Head and AAAIM Trustee, personally delivered the packages on December 14, 2021, in Quezon City with Ms. Anna Alegre, Mr. Jun Javellana, and Mr. Frency Importado.

AAAIM continues the legacy of AIM initially started by Fr. James Donelan to support the well-being of young children.

The Laura Vicuña Foundation, Inc. was organized in 1990 to build the capacities of children in need of special protection through integral education and development. It is a noble partnership between the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and some distinguished lay professionals which addressed the needs of the street children, sexually abused, trafficked exploited girls, the out-of-school youth, the child laborers, and those at great risk. The Foundation aims to restore the children’s faith in themselves, in others, and in society. (http://lauravicunafoundation.weebly.com/)

We express gratitude to the AAAIM Trustees and FAIM for bringing Christmas joy and blessings to the children. It warms our hearts to see how happy they are.
