Celebrating new beginnings, finding opportunities for collaboration.
The Alumni Association of AIM, Inc. (AAAIM) 2023-2024 Board of Trustees hosted a fellowship lunch at the City Club, last January 31, 2024.
In attendance were AIM Chairman, Erramon Aboitiz, AAAIM Chairman, Felix Tiukinhoy Jr. (MBM 1976), Vice Chair Bobby Benares (MBM 1979), Immediate Past Chair, Junjun Dayrit (MBM 1977); AAAIM Trustees: Teddy Villanueva (MBM 1973), Gary Grey (MBM 1974), Greg Atienza (MBM 1983), CJ Jesena (MBM 1988), Rene Fortuno (MDM 1999), RJ Quiroz (MBM 2003), Leslie Suntay (MBA 2005), Adrian Cruz (MBA 2013) and Roxs Tutor (MBA 2019).
Guest of honor was Mr. Erramon Aboitiz, Chairman of the Union Bank of the Philippines, formerly President and CEO of Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) and is currently one of its directors and the newly installed Chairman of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
For two hours the luncheon conversation was candid and spirited. A broad range of topics were covered, notably common points of interest among them marketing, scholarships, student loans as well opportunities for funds generation to support the programs of both the AAAIM and AIM.
Chairmen Aboitiz and Tiukinhoy agreed to keep lines of communications open between the school leadership and the two Boards: AIM and AAAIM.
Truly exciting times ahead.
