The spirit of reconnection and shared legacy filled the air as alumni gathered for the recently concluded AIM Grand Alumni Homecoming Night, held on March 7, 2026, at the iconic The Manila Hotel. The much-anticipated event brought together graduates from across generations of the Asian Institute of Management, celebrating not only the institution’s enduring impact but also the vibrant community it continues to nurture.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Coming Home: Rekindle, Reconnect, Reimagine,” the evening offered alumni a meaningful opportunity to renew friendships, strengthen professional networks, and reflect on shared experiences that have shaped their journeys. Organized by the Class of 2006, the event also paid special tribute to the Golden Jubilarians, the Class of 1976, in recognition of their remarkable milestone.

For the first time in the AIM Homecoming history, two major events—the Triple A Awarding Ceremony and the Grand Homecoming Night were held back-to-back on March 7, 2026. This unified celebration highlights the “One AIM Alumni” spirit, made possible through the collaboration of FAIM and AAAIM, allowing alumni to honor achievements and celebrate together in one meaningful occasion.

AIM President and Dean Jikyeong Kang opened the program with a warm welcome, followed by AAAIM Chair Felix Tiukinhoy Jr., who reflected that homecoming is both a time to look back and an opportunity to pay it forward together by reconnecting, re-engaging, and recommitting to building lasting relationships within the alumni community. FAIM Chair Louis Oui highlighted that the theme “Rekindle, Reconnect, Reimagine” underscores the alumni network’s efforts to strengthen individual connections, enhance global chapter engagement, and reaffirm its shared responsibility as AIM’s largest and most enduring stakeholders united across cultures and geographies as One AIM Alumni community.

A key highlight of the evening was the recognition of the 2026 Triple A Awardees, honored earlier in the celebration, in appreciation of their role in upholding AIM’s distinguished legacy. The program also highlighted the AIM Alumni Association’s fundraising initiative, the Circle of 5,000—a legacy fund that encourages alumni to give back and help sustain AIM’s future impact on its students, alumni, and communities. Alumni may take part by contributing a minimum of Php 5,000.

In his closing remarks, 2026 Alumni Homecoming Chairman Carlo Vega warmly reflected on AIM’s 58th anniversary, reminding everyone that true success is not only measured by how far we go but also by remembering where we started. He shared, "After pursuing our dreams, achieving our goals, and broadening our horizons, let us always make it a point to come home—to rekindle friendships, to reconnect across generations, and to reimagine what we can build together as One AIM Alumni. Welcome home, and Mabuhay ang AIM! ”

The evening concluded with the ceremonial turnover of the torch from the Class of 2006, led by Alumni Homecoming Chairman Mr. Carlo Vega (MBA 2006), to the Class of 2007, represented by Mr. Jesse Divinagracia (MBA 2007), Mr. Milo Alejo (MBA 2007), and Mr. Vinny Balatbat (MBA 2007), signifying the passing of tradition and leadership.

The program was hosted by Riana Pangindian and closed on a lively note with an engaging performance by the Composed band, leaving everyone with memorable moments and renewed inspiration.
