2026 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management, Inc. (AAAIM) successfully held its Annual Membership Meeting on May 23, 2026, at the AIM Conference Center. The hybrid event welcomed both onsite and online participants.

The meeting began with an invocation, presented by AAAIM Trustees: Mr. Joseph Ladip, MDM 2006 (Muslim) and Ms. Yoling Sevilla, ME 2006 (Catholic).

This was followed by the welcome remarks delivered by AAAIM Vice Chair, Ms. Asuncion Aguilar (MBM 1986), who warmly acknowledged the participants and underscored the importance of collective engagement in advancing AAAIM’s mission. She also facilitated the approval of the agenda and the review and approval of the minutes of the previous Annual Membership Meeting held on May 31, 2025.

AAAIM Corporate Secretary, Mr. Ramon Taniola (MM 1995), formally acknowledged the presence of batch representatives and presented the key resolutions approved by the Board and Management, reinforcing the Association’s commitment to transparency and sound governance.

In his Chairman’s Report, AAAIM Chairman Felix O. Tiukinhoy Jr. outlined the Association’s milestones, key initiatives, and ongoing projects for the year. He highlighted AAAIM’s continued efforts to strengthen alumni engagement, expand professional development opportunities, and further enhance its impact on the broader community.

Updates on decade representatives were presented by Ms. Yoling Sevilla (ME 2006), Head of the Nominations and Elections Committee (NOMELEC). She acknowledged the strong participation of batch representatives and underscored the vital role of batch assemblies in encouraging meaningful involvement and strengthening connections across generations of AIM graduates.

The meeting also featured updates from the 2027 Alumni Homecoming Chairman Mr. Jesse Divinagracia (MBA 2007), who shared initial plans and preparations for the next homecoming celebration.

The session concluded with the formal adjournment of the meeting, facilitated by former AAAIM Chairperson Ms. Ofelia Odilao-Bisnar (MBM 1988), who served as moderator throughout the proceedings and ensured the smooth flow of the program.
