As part of the process of getting the alumni to become the major stakeholders of AIM, it was advocated for the alumni to be heavily represented in the management and governance of the school. There are now three members of the alumni who are on the Board of Trustees: Napoleon Nazareno, MBA 1973, Francis Estrada, MBA 1973, and Tony Tan Caktiong, TMP 1983.
